Objective: To observe the effect of comprehensive pulmonary rehabilitation on respiratory function of patients with pneumoconiosis. Methods: 118 cases of one stage pneumoconiosis were given medication and lung lavage in combination with physical therapy, exercise training, acupuncture, massage and health education. Respiratory function, quality of life and anxiety before and after treatment of comprehensive pulmonary rehabilitation were evaluated. Results: After treatment for two months, FEVI and MVV score, exercise capacity and respiratory muscle endurance were significantly increased (P<0.05,0.01), and quality of life and anxiety scores were significantly decreased (P<0.01) in 118 cases of pneumoconiosis as compared with those before treatment. Conclusion: Comprehensive pulmonary rehabilitation can promote the respiratory function, relieve dyspnea symptoms, and improve the quality of life of the patients with pneumoconiosis. |
