EN Abstract:
  Objective: To improve the teaching quality, we have applied standardized patients to rehabilitation assessment teaching and evaluated its effectiveness. Methods: The subjects were the sophomores from the rehabilitation therapy speciality, with the students of grade 2006 using traditional teaching method and those of grade 2007 using standardized patient teaching method. DREEM questionnaire scores were used to evaluate the effectiveness after the course ended. Results: The total scores of DREEM in the standardized patient group were higher than those of the traditional group (P<0.05,0.01), and the standardized patient group scored also higher than the traditional group significantly in solving problems and operating examination (P<0.01). Conclusion: Standardized patient teaching method was applicable to rehabilitation assessment teaching for undergraduates of rehabilitation therapy speciality.
