Objective:To study the mood state of stroke and cerebral trauma patients' family and the related factors. Methods: Self-Rating Anxiety Scale (SAS), Self-Rating Depression Scale (SDS), Social Support Rating Scale (SSRS) were used to assess 118 families of stroke and cerebral trauma patients in department of rehabilitation medicine. Results: The SAS and SDS scores in patients' family were significantly higher than those in Chinese norm (P<0.05). SDS scores were negatively correlated with the total scores of SSRS, objective support, subjective support, and availability of support (P<0.05). Conclusion: Providing sufficient social support, and improving their support availability is a useful way to release the depression and anxiety of stroke and cerebral trauma patients' family. |
