Objective:To study the relationship between the expression of platelet membrane proteins(fibrinogen receptor,FIBR;P-selectin,CD62P)and ischemic stroke in order to provide the medical basis for prevention and treatment of ischemic stroke. Methods:There were 62 cases in ischemic stroke group(group A)and 56 cases in high-risk group of ischemic stroke(group B).Forty healthy volunteers served as control group. The platelet membrane FIBR and CD62P expression in peripheral blood was detected by using flow cytometry.Blood (2ml) was drawn from each patient before treatment at third to fifth day after the attack in group A,and in groups B and C fasting blood (2ml) was drawn in the morning. Results:The FIBR and CD62P expression levels in groups A and B were significantly higher than in group C(P<0.01),and those in group A were higher than in group B(P<0.05).In group A,the expression levels of FIBR and CD62P in patients with carotid atherosclerosis were higher than in those without carotid atherosclerosis(P<0.05).Conclusion:The platelet membrane protein FIBR and CD62P may be regarded as sensitive indexes for forecasting stroke and conducting anti-platelet treatment. |
