| Objective:To study the effect of biofeedback combined with pelvic floor muscle training on recovery of defecation after serious laceration ofperineum after vaginal delivery. Methods:Thirty cases of serious perineum laceration after vaginal delivery were divided into two groups randomly and equally. Both groups received routine therapy for serious vaginal laceration, and observation group was subjected to biofeedback therapy combined with pelvic floor muscle training from the 7th day of postpartum.Clinical scores of the anal incontinence, the index of digital examination of rectum, and clinical effects were recorded. Results:After 4 courses of treatment, the clinical scores of the anal incontinence in both groups were decreased, and more significantly in observation group than in control group(all P<0.05).The indexes of digital examination of the rectum in both groups were improved, and more significantly in observation group than in control group(all P<0.05).The effective rate in observation group was obviously higher than in control group(P<0.05).Conclusion:The treatment of biofeedback combined with pelvic floor muscle training is beneficial for defecation function recovery after reparation of the serious laceration perineum following vaginal delivery. It is a secure, effective and inexpensive method to patients. |
