| Objective:To observe the effect of the application of Canadian occupational performance measure (COPM) on the rehabilitation therapy of stroke patients and analyze the feedback of patients and therapists.Methods:COPM was applied to evaluate occupational needs for 51 stroke patients in hospital,and rehabilitation aim and plan were made to carry out the patients-centered occupational therapy.The performance and degree of satisfaction of the occupational therapy were compared.The patients and therapists were investigated.Results:The problems of self-care activities were more than those of productive activities and leisure activities (P<0.01).The scores of performance and satisfaction of occupational therapy were significantly increased after rehabilitation therapy (P<0.05).Investigation showed the content of COPM was more careful,comprehensive and practical,and COPM could better solve the problems of occupational activities in stroke patients.Conclusion:COPM is easy to operate,helpful to solve the problems of occupational activities,which can guide the clinical practice. |
