Objective:To study the effectiveness of computer-assisted cognitive training system for patients with cognitive function impairment after stroke.Methods:Forty-eight stroke patients with cognitive function impairment were randomly divided into observation group and control group (n=24 each).Both groups received the same medical therapy,physical therapy and traditional cognitive therapy,and the patients in observation group also received computer-assisted cognitive system training additionally.The mini-mental status examination (MMSE) and Loewenstein occupational therapy cognitive assessment (LOTCA) were used to evaluate the cognition function of the subjects at the beginning and at the end of the training,respectively.Results:At the 8th week of training,the MMSE and LOTCA scores were increased in both two groups,more significantly in observation group (P<0.05).Conclusion:The computer-assisted cognitive training system can improve the cognitive function of patient with cognitive function impairment after stroke. |
