Objective:To observe the effects of early systematic rehabilitation on lower-limb function after total hip replacement. Methods:Fifty patients undergoing total hip replacement were randomly divided into two groups:control group accepting counseling from orthopedists post-opteratively (n=25),and in observation group, patients were trainned systematically by rehabilitative specialists (n=25).Harris Hip Score was utilized to assess patients' hip function pre-treatment and 2 weeks post-treatment.The standing time and the walking time after operation and flexion angle of sick hip (ROM) were also used to evaluate functions of lower limbs. Results:Harris hip scores and the ROM of sick hip (flexion) from both groups got significant improvement 2 weeks after treatment (P<0.05),more greatly in observation group (P<0.05).The standing time and the walking time after operation in observation group were earlier than in control group (P<0.05).Conclusion:Early systematic rehabilitation after total hip replacement could promote the recovery of the lower limb function effectively. |
