Objective:To evaluate the clinical efficacy of dynamic ultrasound combined with electric acupuncture in patients with single vertigo from posterior circulation ischemia (PCI).Methods:One hundred and five PCI single-shot vertigo were randomly divided into 3 groups(n=35 each),and were treated by the ultrasound, electric acupuncture and ultrasound combined with electric acupuncture respectively.Therapeutic effectiveness was evaluated by the systolic peak velocity (Vs) of bilateral vertebral artery (VA) and basilar artery (BA),and diastolic blood flow velocity (Vd) using the transcranial Doppler (TCD) scanner before and after treatment. Results:After treatment for 18 days,Vs of BA,and Vd were obviously increased as compared with those before the treatment in all 3 groups (P<0.05).The curative rate and total effective rate in ultrasound combined with electric acupuncture group were higher than those of ultrasonic group and electric acupuncture group (P<0.05).Conclusion:The ultrasonic combined with electric acupuncture showed significant effect in patients with single vertigo from PCI. |
