| Objective:To investigate the effectiveness of ultrasonic combined with PNF on knee joint stiffness. Methods: Fifty-three patients with knee joint stiffness meeting the standard were divided into two groups: traditional treatment group and rehabilitation treatment group, respectively given traditional joint mobilization and PNF combined with ultrasonic treatment. After treatment for two months, the knee motion was observed, and visual analog pain score and the improvement of knee function score were assessed. Results: The rehabilitation treatment was better than the traditional treatment on the knee motion and the improvement of knee function score after treatments (P<0.05). There was no significant different in the visual analog pain score between the two groups. There was significant difference in two groups before and after the treatment (P<0.05). Conclusion:The effectiveness of PNF combined with ultrasonic is more satisfactory than traditional joint mobilization on knee joint stiffness. |
