EN Abstract:
Objective: To determine the test-retest reliability of kinetics, kinematics, ground reaction force (GRF) and the surface electromyography (sEMG) signal during gait in healthy subjects. Method: Kinetics, kinematics, GRF and the sEMG signals of 13 healthy subjects were collected by VICON (NEXUS 1.8.5) three dimensional gait analysis system, AMTI force plates and NORAXON wireless sEMG. The indicators of test retest reliability of kinetics, kinematics, GRF and the sEMG signals were intraclass correlation coefficient (ICC) and standard error of measurement (SEM), and they were used to analyze the test-retest reliability between those two sessions. Results: The test-retest reliability of walking speed, kinetics, kinematics, GRF and the sEMG signals was modest, and the value of ICC was from 0.78 to 0.96. The SEM % of kinematics, kinetics, GRF, and sEMG ranged from (4.18-15.6), t3.31-21.82, 1.70-16.67, and 8.00-11.11 respectively. Conclusion: The three-dimensional gait analysis and sEMG systems were presented to be a reliable and valid method for measuring kinetics, kinematics, GRF and the sEMG signal during gait.
