| Objective: To investigate the applied efficacy of the rehabilitation program based on transtheoretical model (TTM) in elderly patients undergoing artificial hip replacement. Method: A total of 69 elderly patients with hip replacement were randomly divided into control group (n=35) and observation group (n=34). The patients in the control group received conventional rehabilitation treatment and nursing, and those in the observation group received an additional rehabilitation intervention based on TTM. The rehabilitation training adherence, hip function and the quality of life were observed in the two groups before and after intervention. Results: As compared with control group, the scores of the rehabilitation training adherence, hip function and quality of life in the observation group were significantly increased at 3rd and 6th month after intervention (P<0.05). Conclusion: The rehabilitation program based on TTM can effectively improve rehabilitation training adherence, hip function and quality of life in elderly patients with artificial hip replacement. |
