EN Abstract:
Objective: To investigate the intervention effect of individualized transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS) on children with autism complicated with sleep disorder. Methods: A total of 90 children with autism complicated with sleep disorder were randomly divided into control group (n=45) and observation group (n=45) by a random number table method. Both groups received routine rehabilitation treatment. The control group was treated with routine repeated transcranial magnetic stimulation (rTMS) on the basis of routine treatment, and the observation group was treated with individualized rTMS according to the results of event-related potential (ERP). Children’s Autism Rating Scale (CARS), Autism Treatment Evaluation Scale (ATEC), Children’s Sleep Habits Questionnaire (CSHQ) and Family Sleep Habits Questionnaire (FISH) were used to compare and analyze the intervention effect between the two groups. Results: Compared with those before the treatment, the autism -related CARS and ATEC scores in two groups after treatment were significantly decreased (P<0.05), and the CARS and ATEC scores in the observation group were significantly lower than those in the control group (P<0.05). Compared with those before treatment, the sleep-related CSHQ scores in the two groups after treatment were significantly decreased (P<0.05), and the FISH scores were significantly increased (P<0.05), and the CSHQ scores in the observation group were significantly lower than those in the control group (P<0.05), and the FISH scores in the observation group were significantly higher than those in the control group (P<0.05). Conclusion: The intervention effect of individualized rTMS treatment plan based on ERP results in children with autism complicated with sleep disturbance is better than that of conventional rTMS treatment.
