Objective: To explore the intervention effect of family participatory language rehabilitation training based on WeChat platform on post-stroke aphasia (PSA). Methods: Totally, 80 PSA patients admitted to our hospital from September 2021 to June 2023 were collected and randomly divided into a conventional group (n=40, receiving routine rehabilitation education) and a research group (n=40, receiving family participatory language rehabilitation training using WeChat platform as a carrier on the basis of the routine group) using a random number table method. All patients received regular speech training during their stay in the hospital. The patient’s language training compliance was determined. Before and after 3 months of intervention, the patients’ language function was assessed by the western aphasia battery (WAB), which was calculated as aphasia quotient (AQ), and the patients’ communication ability was assessed by the Chinese functional communication profile (CFCP). Results: The training compliance rate of the research group was 97.50%, which was higher than the 80.00% of the conventional group (P<0.05). Before intervention, there were no statistically significant differences in the WAB 4 scores, AQ values, and CFCP scores between the two groups. After 3 months of intervention, the WAB scores, AQ values, and CFCP scores in both groups were higher than before intervention (P<0.05), and those in the research group were higher than in the conventional group (P<0.05). Conclusion: Conducting family participatory language rehabilitation training on WeChat platform for PSA patients can obviously improve training compliance, effectively improve language function, and significantly enhance AQ and communication skills. |
