Objective: To analyze the research hotspots and development trends of occupational therapy in the field of cognitive impairment at home and abroad in the past 10 years. Methods: CiteSpace 6.2.R6 was used to analyze the literature related to the application of occupational therapy in the field of cognitive impairment in China National Knowledge Infrastructure(CNKI)and Web of Science (WOS) in the past 10 years. Results: A total of 99 Chinese articles and 194 English articles were included. In the two databases, the number of papers on the application of occupational therapy in the field of cognitive impairment showed an overall upward trend. The total number of articles published by CNKI was less than that of WOS, but the growth rate in CNKI was faster. The hot diseases related to cognitive disorders concerned by occupational therapy have expanded from brain trauma to childhood diseases and severe rehabilitation in China, and from stroke to depression in foreign countries. In terms of operational evaluation, it is extending to the development of assessment tools in line with local context and validation of validity. The focus of intervention strategy was expanded from cognitive function recovery strategy to social participation. Conclusion: In the past 10 years, domestic and foreign research on occupational therapy in the field of cognitive impairment has made some achievements, although there are differences in the hot diseases, evaluation and treatment strategies. However, with the change of the spectrum of human diseases, the application field is gradually expanding. |
