| Stroke significantly impacts the health and quality of life of residents in China. Exoskeleton robots can effectively improve muscle strength, range of motion, proprioceptive input, and walking ability in stroke patients. However, the mechanisms by which exoskeleton robots benefit stroke patients are not yet fully understood. This article reviews the mechanisms and applications of exoskeleton robots in stroke rehabilitation, as well as their combination with other therapeutic approaches. It aims to assist therapists in developing clinical strategies for stroke patients, encourage patients to actively engage in physical exercise, and provide effective strategies to promote post-stroke recovery. |
